It looks like there is no way to sue the former workplace (client) because I was working as a contractor. Texas being an employment at-will state, they didn't even care to listen to what I had to say.
They just called and asked me not to enter the building.
It turns out you've had the misfortune of having a venomous rattlesnake of a woman slither into your life. Also ask if there is any way to sue your former workplace for wrongfully firing you.
Women have far too much pull when it comes to harassment in the work place. Because the way it turned out is that she fired you, not your boss. Assuming that what you've written is true, best of luck to you and get back on with your life as soon as you can. Also, I dont know how I can prove that there is no harassment.
This puts a bit of a different spin on your story for your employer..wouldn't have a lawyer if there wasn't a case, now would you? I am also asian and while I have grown up in the white suburbs and all my friends are white, there is a cautious part of me in dating or getting close to caucasian girls.
So in my experience or theory, I think there is less leeway in the friends/dating situation and maybe if she is white, that she felt uncomfortable about your close relationship and Asian men do tend to have a more male-dominating personality towards women.
If the worst happens, you can then just shoot him any paperwork from the consultancy and he can quickly fire back honed, pre-researched responses.
That's just my generalized perception - may be right or wrong. You could also ask the company that you want them to call the police.Since she claims to be harassed by you then surely the police must be called if it's serious enough they would want to fire you. By the way, I tried calling her and talk to her but, she wasn't ready to talk. If you see her coming towards you - you do a 180 and go the opposite direction. If they refuse to call the police then you know their charge against you is just some ridiculous BS complaint. It's so amazing that people find such easy and dishonest ways to make millions of dollars of money. Don't make gestures or or have anything to do with her on any level. If you see her coming towards you - you do a 180 and go the opposite direction. If you are fired, it will be because of money and not proven guilt. My point about the cops was that if her complaint was truly serious your employer would call the cops. Don't make gestures or or have anything to do with her on any level. I can't believe that because of a woman, I lost my dignity, money and finally driven out of US.I feel like I am being one of the victims in movies like Disclosure and Pretty Persuasion.
